Many things in business and life are just not working the way we thought they would. In business we have processes in place down to the detail making it apparently easy to follow through, and in life we are making agreements with others, clearly talking about what needs to be done. And yet often, actually in most cases, all this is just delivering the expected results and we ask ourselves what went wrong or, even worse, start blaming others.

After youve completed the inventory of existing files, the next step is to establish user-friendly retention guidelines. Often, offices are glutted with paper and computer files because people using them arent given guidelines about what to keep and what to eliminate. Ironically, some organizations do have such guidelines, but theyre not communicated to the people who really need them, or not provided in a user-friendly form. One company I worked with had a guidebook that was nearly a hundred pages long, but poorly organized, and contained information most people didnt need.

Expanding your business can be very expensive.
Even if you are only expanding to another city, you will need to find and rent offices. You will also need to find, interview and employ staff. With staff come all the associated costs of providing facilities for them, from restrooms to canteens. You will need to lease vehicles for your staff and cope with absences for illness and holidays.

Are you an entrepreneur but don't like selling alone? A consortium is a combination of different industry-types of entrepreneurs working together to attract business as a group. Even though each member maintains their individuality and operates as the same as self-employed.
