What image comes to mind when you hear the word barge? Most likely, an American will visualize a long low-slung cargo vessel situated on a river or the Great Lakes, dirty and loaded with coal or iron ore. The idea of a barge cruise may be reminiscent of an old black and white movie where the hero leaves home at a young age on a cheap tramp steamer to seek his fortune in the great world beyond. Or a barge cruise might bring to mind long-haired hippies of the 1960s traveling through Europe on $3 a day. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Amsterdam takes a special place in the world of Diamonds. Walking down the streets you will see a lot of Diamond and jewelry stores as well as a lot of places that are locked up with signs saying "guided diamond tours from 2 to 4 PM" .

Midway Utah is a small town located 46 miles north of Salt Lake. It is adjacent to the popular cities of Heber and Park City. This nice high alpine valley city sits on the Wasatch Front between thick forests and beautiful lakes. The beautiful mountains and great views make Midway real estate a very valuable commodity. This quite city is home for over 2,121 Utah residents. Many more people come during winter to take advantage of the great Utah snow. Midway is also a very unique town for other reasons.
